A Message from the Courtyard Club

Greetings, dear readers! Today, we bring you the heartwarming tale of the Courtyard Club at Cedar High School, where a group of budding enthusiasts is turning their school’s middle courtyard space into a blooming sanctuary.

The Courtyard Club has a mission that goes beyond textbooks and exams. Their goal is to transform the small courtyard in the middle of the school into a haven of natural beauty, transcending the traditional classroom environment.

Last fall, the green-thumbed members of the Courtyard Club gathered for a monumental workday. Armed with shovels, hoses, and a plethora of pizza, they sowed the seeds of change by planting an array of vibrant flowers and plants. Lady Bug Nursery played a crucial role by providing an abundance of good soil, ensuring that the roots of their efforts would run deep.

In the spirit of community and growth, Mike Green emerged as a benevolent benefactor, generously donating funds for essential supplies and a variety of plants. The Courtyard Club expresses heartfelt gratitude to everyone who lent a hand in this blooming endeavor.

However, as the frost of winter gives way to the warmth of spring, the Courtyard Club faces a new challenge: the impending planting season. With the vision of turning the courtyard into a kaleidoscope of colors, they are reaching out to the families and friends of the community for support.

“As spring tiptoes closer, we’re gearing up to bring even more life to our little haven. But we can’t do it alone.” says Katelyn Green, the president of the Courtyard Club.

The Courtyard Club is inviting the community to join hands (and green thumbs) in their mission. Whether it’s contributing financially, sharing gardening expertise, offering precious time, or unearthing forgotten garden supplies from the depths of the shed, every contribution will be embraced with open arms and grateful hearts.

“We believe in the power of unity and growth,” adds Katelyn. “Your support will help us blossom into something truly extraordinary.”

So, dear readers, let’s rally around the Courtyard Club and nurture this beautiful initiative. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just a casual admirer of flowers, there’s a place for you in this botanical adventure. Let’s make Cedar High’s courtyard the talk of the town—a floral haven where the seeds of community, generosity, and laughter bloom into a garden full of joy.
